This blog chronicles our journey to adopt a daughter from the glorious country of India. We found Arani in May and are working hard to bring her home as soon as we can. Arani is 2 yrs old and suffers from an eye condition called "bilateral congenital nystagmus"

Uggh Ugggh Uuuuuuugggghhh!!!
This morning I was so happy! I finally had all my documents together and notorized. I happily took my dossier down to the govt. office to be authenticated where they ... told me... Over HALF of them were worded wrong and need to be redone! AAAAHHHHH! I tried so hard not to cry in the office, but as soon as my but hit the seat in the car I just LOST IT! I cried all the way home. *sigh* My 7yo son is so sweet. When we got home he hugged me and said "It's ok Mom." Oh he's so scrumptious! :-*) Well, all is not lost. I should be able to have them all re-notorized this weekend and head back to the authenication office Monday Morning. And *sigh* they told me it could take 5-10 days! This is so hard!
