No horse riding for Xander :-(

Last night he visited a horse and hugged it. 20 minutes later we almost had to take him to the ER! He was red and itchy and puffed up all over. The Zyrtec worked thank goodness, but DANG! One more thing he can't do because of allergies. He is so bummed! :-( my poor baby.

Oh no! Poor thing. I have the same problem. I tried riding in the horse carriage at Knott's Berry Farm last spring, and a speck of dander must have floated in my eye becasue it swelled like it hasn't swellled in years. I had to go to the first aid building and they gave me a benedryl and it worked after a while. It was really bad!

One should respect public opinion in so far as is necessary to avoid starvation and to keep out of prison, but anything that goes beyond this is voluntary submission to an unnecessary tyranny.

Anyone who has had a glimpse of the range and subtlety of the thought of Plato or of a Hegel will long ago have despaired of becoming a philosopher.
