I'm never going to make it.
I have to finish "Understanding the Times" by the 28th, but I'm struggling to get through 10-20 pages a day(it's 891 pages!) UGH, I am taking notes and such and that's why and it's so hard to find time to really study when you have kids. LOL I'm glad at least that it's not a class I'll be graded on or something. I'm glad to be learning about communism and humanism, as I really never understood either worldview before. Just had a general idea of what they were about. I have to say that this book, though it's definately geared towards a Christian worldview, does a great job of presenting all the facts of each worlview. It's very interesting. I just wish it were SHORTER! LOL posted by Tamra at 05:36 PM

God may be understood to be similar to a lifeguard who sees a drowning child and, although perfectly capable of saving the unfortunate waif, does nothing and lets her drown. Posted by: free online poker on September 21, 2004 05:06 AM
The brain therefore you speak of, being a sensible thing, exists only in the mind. Posted by: texas holdem poker on September 22, 2004 05:21 AM
The truth is often a terrible weapon of aggression. It is possible to lie, even to murder, for the truth. Posted by: texas holdem poker on September 22, 2004 05:21 AM
One should respect public opinion in so far as is necessary to avoid starvation and to keep out of prison, but anything that goes beyond this is voluntary submission to an unnecessary tyranny. Posted by: free online poker on October 8, 2004 02:01 PM
If justice and righteousness perish, human life would no longer have any value in the world. Posted by: free online poker on October 8, 2004 02:01 PM

The first revolt is against the supreme tyranny of theology, of the phantom of God. As long as we have a master in heaven, we will be slaves on earth. Posted by: texas holdem on October 9, 2004 06:29 PM
Suicide is not abominable because God prohibits it; God prohibits it because it is abominable. Posted by: free online poker on October 9, 2004 09:55 PM
The madman jumped into their midst and pierced them with his eyes. 'Whither is God? He cried; 'I will tell you. We have killed him - you and I. All of us are his murderers. Posted by: free poker online on October 9, 2004 09:57 PM

Happiness is the only sanction of life; where happiness fails, existence remains a mad and lamentable experiment. Posted by: casino online on October 10, 2004 02:09 AM
