Stolen from Tammy(Tammy's Homeschooling Blog) 1. How many children do you homeschool? [2 boys age 7 and almost 5] 2. How many years have you been homeschooling? [7 :-) Officially I'd say 3 or so] 3. How many homeschooling blogs do you read each day? [one or two] 4. How many times do you check your favorite blog? [two or three times a week] 5. What's your favorite subject to teach your kids? [History and Religion] 6. What subject do you neglect? [Science, I hate science experiments though the boys do many on their own and love Zoom LOL] 7. Will you take a nap today? [Don't need one. no I won't be.] 8. Will any of your children take a nap today? [Yes Ollie naps twice a day still] 9. How many Lego sets does your family own? [one or two. They collect dust. My boys aren't into legos.] 10. What are the names of your pets? [no pets, kids are allergic] 11. Age of your first kiss? [15 yrs] 12. Any grandkids? [I'm 28 and my oldest is 7.] 13. Are your grandkids homeschooled? N/A 14. Breast or bottle? [Breast until they wean on their own. Xander was 5.5 yrs, Sullivan was 3yrs, and Ollie is 14 mos and still going strong] 15. Do you participate in your homeschooling PE class? [I have no idea what that is. My boys take ballet and clogging and this year Sully is trying soccer and Xan may try horse riding] 16. Favorite homeschooling magazine? [Don't subscribe, though I'd love to. Any recommendations?] 17. Stupidest curriculum-buying mistake? [I've never purchased a curriculum, so, no mistakes! :-)] 18. Worst curriculum you've tried? [N/A] 19. Curriculum publisher that you can't believe is still in business? [no idea] 20. Do you teach your child to tie their shoes or do you wait until they ask? [wait until they ASK] 21. Set bedtime for your kids or not? [Yes, they set it though. 10:00pm] 22. Favorite homeschooling bulletin board? [http://www.yaaps.com] 23. Wood or mechanical pencils? [wood] 24. Do you use a red pen or not? [for what? I don't grade my kids. Either it's acceptable or it's not and they do it again. No red marks I just tell them what to fix. I think I'll use purple as they get older and need more indepth ideas and help] 25. Do your children have a bookcase of their own? [Nope a family bookcase filled with the classics] 26. HSLDA. Good, Bad, Silly, No comment? (Those are your only choices.) [Somewhere between good and bad LOL I don't belong and probably never will] 27. Last biography you read? [The Real Thomas Jefferson] 28. What the last biography one of your children read? [The ride of Paul Revere] 29. What's being studied in science right now? [um...science what's that? actually we've been discussing the phases of matter. gas, solid, liquid etc.] 30. Did you like Miquon? [Never tried it] 31. Do you buy school supplies around August or as you need them? [As we need them.] 32. Do you buy from homeschool discounters or not? [Wal Mart usually] 33. What can you see out of your front window? [My neighbor (((waves)))] 34. What's the temperature in your home right now? [75 degrees] 35. What time is it right now? [5:47pm] 36. Do you buy used books? [all the time! Half.com is my lifeline!] 37. What was the most recent spill you had to clean up? [I don't clean spills, the spillee does.] 38. How old is your couch? [probably 20 yrs old. It was a hand me down from my Grandmother] 39. TV or not? [Yes but only after 3:00] 40. Schoolroom or not? [not really, we have several rooms for different things. Art and pencil work in the dining room, reading in the living room, computer in the computer room etc] 41. Desks for each child or not? [No desks, dining room table] 42.
