Vacation Summary and Ollie's accident
I guess I'd better start off with little Ollie, so you don't have to scan the post. About 2 hours after we arrived home from our vacation, my percocious, curious, and VERY FAST 13 mo old baby burned his right hand on my brother's motorcycle exhaust! Luckily there is no permanent damage, but it is very scary looking. He had a one inch high blister covering his entire palm this morning at his followup. They lanced it and cut away the dead skin. He's no longer in a lot of pain. He's acting normally. Sure did give the whole family a scare though! If you pray, say a little prayer for my baby. Thank you. The vacation was quite pleasant. Six days of scrapbooking, reading my scriptures, and reading adoption books outside on the grass while my baby was toddling around practicing his walking skills. I thoroughly enjoyed it! Ollie really mastered the walking thing on our trip! I can't believe my baby is wallking. My 4 yo had a wonderful time playing with a little girl his age. They pretended to be babies and took care of each other in turn. How cute. My 7yo started saying "freaking" a lot *sigh* and asked a question I didn't want to answer. "Mom what does 'hump' mean?" UGH Well, it was in regards to a conversation he overheard. Some girls were discussing how their dog had "humped" a boy's leg. So I gave the easy answer. The dog rubbed his penis on the boy. LOL That was enough for a 7yo ewwwwwww! Needless to say Xander got an ATTITUDE on this trip (thanks to all the teenage boys) and needs some major adjusting (cuddle time with mom), but other than that it was quite a pleasant vacation indeed. posted by Tamra at 11:29 PM

Christianity taught that men ought to be as chaste as pagans thought honest women ought to be; the contraceptive morality teaches that women need to be as little chaste as pagans thought men need be. Posted by: online poker on October 8, 2004 12:45 PM
I have often wondered how it is that every man loves himself more than all the rest of men, but yet sets less value on his own opinion of himself than on the opinion of others Posted by: poker online on October 8, 2004 12:46 PM

If a man were to say he chose something impossible he would be thought a fool; but we can wish for things that are impossible, for instance immortality. Posted by: online poker on October 9, 2004 09:48 PM

Leibniz never married; he had considered it at the age of fifty; but the person he had in mind asked for time to reflect. This gave Leibniz time to reflect, too, and so he never married. Posted by: casino online on October 10, 2004 01:59 AM
