Goodbye TV! » June 03, 2003 I hate baseball It is so tough on me as a mom. Xander really isn't that great at it. He's played a lot of games but he's only hit the ball twice. Both times he was so shocked. The boys are really good with him though and don't make him feel badly, but it's so hard for me to watch. At first he hated it, but now he's talking about doing it next year and I really don't want to do it. They've gone from 1st to 4th place in the last two weeks and I don't know how much more I can take. He doesn't seem to mind, so why do I? I don't think I was meant to be a sports mom. On the up side though. My friend Brandi had a beautiful homebirth last Friday and Ollie and I got to be there! It was absolutely amazing!
